Rent Terms of Service
Do you have an important celebration coming up and want to rent a dress but don't know how it works? Don't worry, it's very simple! Read the information below and get ready for your chosen dress to arrive!
These rental terms and conditions apply to all customers who use clothing rental services through the A.P. Line online store or physical store.
ORDER PROCESS
The order can be placed either in the A.P. Line online store or in the physical store.
- Choose:
- the desired clothing item;
- the rental period;
- make the payment.
- In the online store, the order is confirmed after payment.
- In the case of a physical store, the rental is finalized directly at the studio.
CONTRACT
DEFINITIONS USED IN THE CONTRACT
- The contract - is a service provision agreement concluded in the online store.
- Product label – a tag attached to an item, which can only be removed while wearing the item.
- Order – actions required to order services.
- Value – the value of a specific item used to determine damage.
- Special offer – discounts or additional services at a lower price.
- Base price – the rental or service price without discounts, as stated on the website.
- Account – an individual account created by the Buyer on the website with personal information.
- Discount code – a code that provides a monetary or percentage discount for an order.
- Registration – the creation of the Buyer's account on the website by filling out the registration form.
- Return information sheet – a document with the order number and return information.
- Services – the services described in Section 2 of this Agreement.
- The order package – a box with the order and return label.
- Signs of item use – characteristics indicating that the item has been used (e.g., stains, odor, absence of labels).
SUBJECT OF THE CONTRACT
By this agreement, the Service Provider undertakes to provide the services listed in section 2 of this chapter, and the Buyer undertakes to pay for the services provided. The service provider offers the following services:
- Clothing and/or accessory rental services, which grant the Buyer the right to use the rented items during the rental period;
- Clothing or item measurement services with the purpose of renting the product;
- Delivery and return services for the items.
RENTAL PRICE AND PAYMENT
- The rental price depends on the clothing model and rental duration. The price is provided both in the online store and in the physical store before placing an order.
- The customer must make the payment for the rental before using the service.
- The buyer is obligated to present any available gift, discount, or special offer coupons and codes before confirming the order. After the order is confirmed, the service price can no longer be changed.
- If the rented item is not returned/shipped on time, an additional fee will be charged after the deadline has passed.
- In case of order cancellation, the terms and conditions specified in point 5 of the contract, "Cancellation Policy," apply.
- If the Buyer refuses to return the product to the Service Provider, they must pay the Service Provider the value of the product, which is specified each time an order is placed.
- If the Buyer does not collect the order within the specified time and fails to notify the service provider, the money paid for the order will not be refunded.
- If the Buyer does not settle the outstanding debt under this agreement within 10 calendar days, they will be considered a debtor, and the debt management will be transferred to the relevant authorities.
INSURANCE
For each rented item, an additional insurance fee (7 EUR) is added, which is fixed and included in the rental price. No additional payment is required. This fee covers any potential minor damage to the item, which can be repaired without affecting its appearance or value.
Minor violations include:
- Loose button;
- Broken functional zipper;
- Slight seam unraveling;
- Wear smell;
- Removable stains;
- Etc.
If the returned item has significant damages that alter its appearance and reduce its value, but it can still be repaired and returned to the service provider's inventory, the buyer is required to cover the repair costs (ranging from 7 to 30 EUR).
Serious violations include:
- Hard-to-remove stains;
- Seam unraveling (more than 10 cm);
- Torn fabric;
- Missing a large number of buttons, sequins, beads;
- Burnt fabric;
- Fabric stretching (changed fabric texture, color);
- Irreparably damaged fastener;
- Etc.
If the returned item has irreparable or specific damages, the buyer agrees to pay 100% of the item's value. In this case, the damaged item becomes the property of the buyer.
Irreparable and specific violations include:
- Dress hem (cutting and/or folding);
- Sewing on additional details;
- Visible signs of washing;
- Burnt hole, etc.;
- Irreparably torn or damaged fabric;
- Stains that cannot be cleaned;
- Etc.
RENTAL ORDER PROCESS
ORDER SUBMISSION
- Buyer’s actions:
- Logs into the account on the website;
- Selects the desired item and reads the information about it;
- Chooses the size, rental period, and dates (no earlier than 2 days and no later than 6 months);
- Adds the item to the cart;
- Reviews the cart, confirms whether the information is correct, and approves it;
- Fills in the delivery details;
- Selects the payment method, agrees to the terms, and places the order.
- Confirmation: The order submission is completed with payment, and the buyer receives a confirmation email.
DELIVERY/PICKUP
The order is delivered to the address, date, and method specified by the buyer. The order is collected by the buyer who placed the order; if this is not possible, an authorized person with the order number can collect it. Changing the address may result in additional fees and delays.
Responsibility for the goods transfers to the buyer once the shipment is received and confirmed (via signature, parcel locker system, or other means).
USAGE OF GOODS
The buyer is responsible for the condition of the goods from delivery to return. It is prohibited to clean or repair the goods independently or through third parties.
RETURN OF ITEM IN CASE OF RENTAL
Return terms:
- To the studio (Tvirtovės al. 86-2, Kaunas): by the end of business hours on the return date;
- By courier/parcel terminal to the studio: it is necessary to hand over the parcel to the courier or send it via the parcel terminal to the studio.
Items must be returned in the same condition as they were received.
Cancellation policy:
If the garment does not fit and has not been worn, notify via email or other social media channels within 24 hours of receiving, or follow the instructions provided in the package and send it back within 24 hours.
Extension:
The buyer may request an extension of the deadline, and once the request is approved, they must pay the additional fee within 2 days.
Delay:
A late fee of 25% of the order value will be applied for each day of delay, but not exceeding the total value of the items. After 10 days, the debt will be handed over for collection.
TERMS AND CONDITIONS
The contract is considered concluded when the buyer places an order, agrees to the terms, and pays or commits to pay.
The receipt of the order is confirmed by email.
The contract is executed when the service is provided, payment is made, and the product is returned under the specified conditions.
Compensation for damages:
If the item is damaged, not returned, or returned in poor condition, the Buyer must cover the losses.
Order cancellation:
- Within 24 hours of submission: 100% refund. If the clothing item does not fit and has not been worn, notify via email or other social media channels within 24 hours of receipt, or follow the instructions included in the shipment and send it back within 24 hours.
- After 24 hours from submission: the order is considered completed and the money is non-refundable.
Refund period:
The money will be refunded to the specified bank account within 14 days.
SERVICE PROVIDER’S OBLIGATIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- The service provider ensures that all necessary information regarding the service terms, main product characteristics, prices, delivery and return procedures, as well as payment methods and terms, will be presented clearly and understandably.
- The service provider guarantees that the products ordered by the buyer match the description provided on the website and are suitable for their intended use.
- If, due to unforeseen circumstances, the service provider is unable to deliver the ordered goods, they have the right to unilaterally terminate the contract. In such a case, the service provider must inform the buyer about it.
- If the ordered product cannot be delivered, the service provider may offer the buyer another similar product, for which no additional charge will be required. If the buyer refuses this offer or the service provider is unable to offer another product, the amount paid for the product will be refunded within 5 (five) business days from the notification of contract termination.
- The fulfillment of this obligation is considered an appropriate action by the service provider, and the service provider assumes no responsibility for any potential damage incurred by the buyer or third parties due to the non-delivery of the product.
BUYER’S RIGHTS AND OBLIGATIONS
- The buyer has the right to request additional information if the provided information about goods or services is unclear or not understandable.
- The Buyer agrees to provide accurate, precise, and complete information about themselves during the order, responding to all presented questions.
- The buyer assumes responsibility under the law for providing incorrect information, deliberately misleading the service provider, and for the consequences arising from this.
- The buyer is responsible for the protection of their username and password and for all actions performed on the website using these credentials.
- The buyer acknowledges that all rights related to the website and the services provided belong to the service provider, including intellectual property rights.
DATA PROTECTION AND PROCESSING
- The service provider agrees not to transfer the buyer's personal data to third parties, except in cases where the data is necessary for the service provider's partners responsible for delivery or the provision of other services.
- By agreeing to the terms, the buyer allows receiving information about the order and special offers to the provided address and email.
FINAL PROVISIONS
The responsibility of the parties is determined in accordance with the applicable laws of the Republic of Lithuania and this Agreement.
This Agreement establishes the general terms and conditions for the provision of the Service and is the main document ensuring the execution of the Order. It does not limit the Buyer’s rights provided by the laws of the Republic of Lithuania and cannot be interpreted as a restriction of such rights.
